the governor of Salta, Juan Carlos Romero. This scorched earth policy can only be stopped by the urgent approval of the Senate's long-delayed National Forests Act.

The rule establishes a moratorium on clearing up both provinces make a land of native forests in a participatory planning sustainable use of them also explicitly prohibit the granting of permits for land clearing in areas traditionally inhabited.
